We started Argix because the security stack most enterprises run was designed before the smartphone — let alone the cloud. We rebuilt it from the camera up.
Argix Technologies was founded in 2022 by a team of operators from cloud infrastructure, enterprise networking, and physical-security backgrounds. We'd each watched the same frustration play out: capable hardware, brittle software, and an integration tax that consumed quarters of engineering time per deployment.
The first version of Argix was a small Python service that consolidated alerts across three different VMS vendors for a single customer's security operations centre. Three years later it is a global platform managing tens of thousands of cameras, attendance for fifteen-thousand-plus employees, and millions of forensic search queries.
The mission has not moved — close the gap between the hardware that watches a building and the software that runs the business.

Three principles — everything else falls out of them.
Privacy first
We treat camera data as a fiduciary responsibility, not a growth lever. Retention defaults short, sharing defaults off, deletion defaults permanent.
Open platform
Customers should never feel locked in. Everything Argix does is reachable via the same public API that powers our own console and mobile apps.
Operator empathy
Most of our team has stood overnight watch in a security operations centre. We optimise for the person at 3am, not the demo.
