Privacy Policy
Last updated May 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Argix Technologies, Inc. (“Argix”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit our websites, use our products, or otherwise interact with us. By using our services you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect three broad categories of information:
- Information you provide directly — account details (name, work email, organisation), billing information, and content you upload to the platform such as enrolled identities or site configuration.
- Information collected automatically — device identifiers, IP address, browser metadata, product telemetry, and the video and event streams routed through the Argix platform on behalf of the controller customer.
- Information from third parties — identity providers (SSO), billing processors, and integration partners you authorise.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to deliver the contracted services, secure them against abuse, bill correctly, comply with our legal obligations, and (with explicit opt-in) improve our products. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use content routed through the platform to train general-purpose models.
Legal basis (EEA / UK)
Where required by GDPR or equivalent laws, our lawful bases for processing are contractual necessity, legitimate interest (security and fraud prevention), legal obligation, and consent (for optional analytics and marketing).
Sharing
We share information only with subprocessors operating under written contract, regulators when legally required, and parties you instruct (for example via SSO or API integration). A current list of subprocessors is available on request.
Retention
Video and event data is retained for the period configured in the controller customer's account (default 30 days). Account and billing records are retained for as long as the relationship is active, plus the minimum period required by tax and regulatory law thereafter.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict processing of, or delete your personal information. For information held on behalf of a controller customer, requests should be routed to that customer; we will assist them in responding.
Security
We operate a SOC 2 Type II programme. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest; production access is gated by hardware-key MFA and short-lived credentials. Suspected security issues should be reported to support@argix.io.
Children
The Argix platform is intended for enterprise use and is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
International transfers
Personal data may be processed in the United States and other countries in which our subprocessors operate. Where transfers are subject to GDPR, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-product and by email to account administrators at least 30 days before they take effect.
Contact
Privacy questions and rights requests should be directed to support@argix.io. EU/UK data-subject requests are handled by the same address.
